Fremont, California, November 20, 2024 — Optoplex today launched a series of optical delay-lines (ODLs) and delay-line-interferometers (DLIs) particularly for demanding quantum applications..
Optoplex is a technology and market leader of optical phase demodulators (DPSK, DQPSK, QPSK and DP-QPSK) and integrated receivers for telecom optical communications and aerospace satellite communications.
Products
The newly released optical delay-lines (ODLs) and the delay-line-interferometers (DLIs) include
- Optical Delay-Lines (ODLs)
- Fixed Delay-Lines:
- Free-Space Design: max 1 ns
- Hybrid Design: max 100 ns
- Variable Delay-Lines:
- a. Manually Variable: max 50mm moving range, ~333 ps
- b. Motorized: max 150mm moving, ~ 1000 ps
- Delay-Lines Interferometer (DLIs)
- Fixed FSR:
- Free-Space Design: min. 0.5GHz FSR
- Hybrid Design: min. 10MHz (100ns delay)
- Variable FSR:
